The Kiln

Why does The Kiln exist?

You don’t need another training.

You need somewhere to bring the work.

Most practitioners have somewhere to learn. Far fewer have somewhere to reflect. The Kiln offers a regular place to think alongside others who understand the emotional complexity of fertility work. Good practitioners don’t need all the answers, but they do need somewhere to think.

What to Expect

The Kiln is a monthly mentoring space for fertility practitioners. It’s a place to bring the work that stays with you.

Once a month, we’ll gather in a small group of practitioners who understand the emotional complexity of supporting people through fertility, conception, treatment, pregnancy, loss and reproductive uncertainty.

This is facilitated mentoring.

It is not therapy or formal clinical supervision

❋ Grounded Structure

Each session follows the same gentle rhythm. We begin by settling the nervous system, move into reflective practice together, and close with enough space to leave feeling steady and resourced

❋ Thoughtful Mentoring

Alongside the wisdom of the group, I’ll offer reflections, perspectives and guidance drawn from my own experience. This isn’t about fixing problems or offering quick answers. It’s about helping you think more deeply about the work you do and how you hold it

❋ Reflective Practice

Bring the client moments that have stayed with you, the ethical questions, the boundary dilemmas, the uncertainty, or the emotional residue that can quietly accumulate in this work

❋ A Small Community

The Kiln is intentionally small. The same group meets each month for three months, allowing trust to grow and conversations to deepen

Bearings (September)

Our first session is about finding our footing together. We’ll take time to arrive, get to know the shape of the group and reflect on what each of us is carrying in our work.

We’ll begin to notice the questions, tensions and client moments that need somewhere to go, without rushing to resolve them.

The Wider View (October)

We’ll look more closely at what happens inside us as practitioners: the emotional residue of the work, the places where we feel pulled to fix, rescue or know, and the boundaries that can become harder to hold when we care deeply.

There will be space to bring real moments from your practice and think about them in the company of others

The Light We Keep (November)

Looking back before we look ahead. Gathering what we’ve learned and what we want to keep close as we return to practice

Who is The Kiln for?

you might feel at home here if..

You care deeply about the people you work with and sometimes find that the work follows you home. You value reflection as much as learning, and would welcome a regular place to think alongside practitioners who understand fertility work.

The Kiln is open to yoga teachers, acupuncturists, doulas, coaches, nutritionists, counsellors and others working in fertility and reproductive health.

It keeps the recognition and warmth of the versions you liked, while making it completely clear who can join.
