Feel held.

Welcome to a synergy of community and yoga for anyone that is pregnant after a long haul journey.

If you’re looking for a safe space to land, move and connect with others who understand - this might be for you.

Held begins on October 11th and will run fortnightly across twelve weeks that will take us to a final integration session together at the winter solstice. We will begin and end with a women’s circle, with four yoga sessions in between. These will journey through the four elements and their corresponding chakras.

Session Details: Begins Monday 11th October 7pm-8pm

  • 11th October - Connect

    In our first session we will dedicate time to meeting the women who are coming together and creating a safe space for us to practice in together. There will be some gentle movement, breathwork and guided relaxation.

  • 25th October- Earth

    Root Chakra. Ground, begin, listen.

  • 8th November - Water

    Sacral Chakra. Flow, evolve, return.

  • 22nd November - Fire

    Solar Plexus Chakra. Energy, spark, spiral.

  • 6th December- Air

    The Heart Chakra. Balance, patience, love.

  • 20th December- Integrate

    We complete our twelve weeks together with a coming together circle to pause and honour our journeys. This session so happens to magically align with the winter solstice, a powerful time to go inwards and reflect.

Every fortnight for six weeks, we will meet to connect with others who have a shared understanding of being pregnant after a complex journey. The first and last session will be dedicated as a time and space to connect with others through a women’s circle (with some breathwork and guided relaxation). In sessions 2-4 we’ll move softly, with sequences attuned to the elements and corresponding chakras.

We’ll make time to rest deeply through restorative poses and connect to the breath. This is all set against weekly playlists that marry in with the session theme and energies.

I understand from personal experience that long awaited pregnancies can be accompanied by complex emotions and unique relationships with our bodies (and how we want to move them). The movements that are part of the sessions will be gentle, suitable for all trimesters and always to be taken at your pace. You are more than welcome to attend and take rest whenever you choose. Options will be given and I am only ever a message away if you have anything you’d like to ask.
